The second performative event was to hold a vogue mini-ball, “TAI TAI BALL” at the museum, with a theme of “gender-fluidity.” Open for local vogue dancers to participate in, the ball used the museum installation as a competition stage. For the competition, we arranged nine categories for participants to enter into, which were: Old-Way Vogue, New-Way Vogue, Vogue Femme, American Runway, European Runway, Male Figure Realness, Female Figure Realness, and Face and Hand Performance. The TAI installation is also a stage where the audience members can walk the catwalk themselves, taking selfies using the mirror to enjoy the sensation of becoming a performer.
